The Hummel AG is an internationally successful, medium-sized company that specializes in producing Electric Components for a wide variety of industry applications. Among its highly demanded products are cable glands, circular connectors and cable protection systems.
Recently, the Hummel AG contacted us. They were looking for a tailor-made foam inlay for a set of Electric Components. Soon, we received a sample of the assortment box Raaco Assorter 55 4 × 8-15 with the previously used and now to be replaced, generic Pick and Pluck foam insert.
The storage solution in use thus far looked as follows:
To enhance the look for presentation purposes, the new inlay was to have well-shaped custom compartments for each component. After a few e-mails and phone calls we had all the requirements and got down to work.
And this is the result:
As you can see, all Electric Components fit exactly into their respective compartments. The new look thus highlights the superior quality of the presented products.
A nice side effect is that the box does not rattle during transport, which spares nerves.
